Endodontics is a process that treats the inside of teeth when the pulp is irreparably damaged by deep cavities, shocks or other types of injuries.
Your own teeth are the best
The priority at Empordà Odontòlegs is to retain, whenever possible, your natural teeth. Endodontics is a treatment that makes it possible to achieve this in most cases. If we retain the tooth, we retain the surrounding bone and gums, as well as the aesthetics and functionality once finally restored.
Natural tooth versus dental implant
It is only when endodontics won’t work that we look at extraction and replacement. In those cases, rebuilding using a dental implant is likely the preferred option.
